*Warning! - I may rant on about the story in the description so be aware there might be spoilers there if you read through it.*

The Last Promise was created by Blazer and is a hack for Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. This hack is a full length adventure filled with danger, some new items & classes as well as music, and a very well balanced difficulty curve.

Seems like this isn't going to be a very difficult mission because the so called leader here is actually infiltrating the inner ranks of Magnus. Anakin need only reach the throne room and talk with this guy called Lyam to end the chapter.

Of course while Anakin's team is doing their thing, the newly returned Shon & Kelik are tasked with rescuing our wayward "leader" of the rebellion.

We get two new party members right off the bat as well.

First off, before the preparations screen, Liuke comes into the picture.

Liuke is a merchant and comes in at a very good time because now you don't have to worry about throwing junk away. It can simply go to his stash.

In the preparations screen, make sure Shon or Kelik gets the Member's Card as there is a secret shop in there section of the map.

Once you actually begin the mission, the other new character joins up, Mark.

Mark is a Pirate, meaning he will be promoting to a Berserker if you develop him enough. He will need some work though because his defenses are low and he's not exactly the quickest critter on two feet. He does have a bucketload of HP though.

Now if you wanted to, you could take this slow. Two minor problems with that:

A. Siegfried is killed if he is not freed within...10 turns I believe. Shon & Kelik have plenty of time to make it there so this is no issue.

B. You gain access to a gaiden chapter if you clear this map within 21 turns.

Point B is something that should not be hard to reach as long as you work quickly to kill the enemies in your path.

Lots of treasure to pick up here too with one of the many rewards being a Celestial Ring. You should give that to whomever in your team needs it. Another one will be available right away at the start of chapter 18 so don't bother holding onto it unless you don't have any lv20 spellcasters roaming around on your team.

As you close in on the throne, Lyam will eventually switch over to a green army unit. Any enemies in range of him are pretty much dead. Lyam is pretty tanky for this stage of the game and has good offensive stats too.

Once you have everything you need from here, Anakin can talk to Lyam to end the chapter.
