*Warning! - I may rant on about the story in the description so be aware there might be spoilers there if you read through it.*

The Last Promise was created by Blazer and is a hack for Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. This hack is a full length adventure filled with danger, some new items & classes as well as music, and a very well balanced difficulty curve.

You can head to the following site to keep up with the latest news regarding the hack and download the latest version of it:

ROM should be easy enough to find on your own.

This chapter, we get to free some prisoners of war, yay!

That and we pick up two new party members for this chapter, Shuuda & Inanna.

Shuuda is a mercenary with some very nice bases. That speed of his basically will ensure he can double pretty much everything at this stage. Just watch out for his durability as he doesn't have the greatest defense in the world.

As for Inanna, she's a Pegasus Knight and can fly around wherever she desires. Her starting weapons are ok, but she could really make good use out of that Emblem Lance to give her an easy damage boost without losing much AS by using heavy stuff like her Javelin.

The first couple of turns are probably the worst this map will throw at you. There's quite a few enemies in the area and you could easily see someone swarmed and killed if you run them out there rambo style unless they have very high def like my Shon has or generally just has a lot of HP to tank hits like Sieg.

If you can setup any easy kills for Inanna, do so. Even with the Emblem Lance, she's not going to have the easiest of times doubling several enemies on this map.

The main goal here is to kill that Knight east of a village, then have someone visit said village so you can get a bridge made to reach the boss.

Inanna should visit that village in the southeast part of the map to pick up a Torch, then search the nearby cliff to find an Elysian Whip. I'll probably sell this off for some extra gold early on as I'll get plenty more of these later in the game (Also, there's another reason why I want to do this, but we'll get to that when I get to that point).

Anyways, after a couple more enemies, the boss awaits. He has a Javelin so he's gonna be able to attack at melee or ranged as he wishes. If you're gonna utilize him to get Tamiko some easy exp, keep your dedicated pincushion at range so you don't have to risk Tamiko getting too close while she heals up.

Afterwards, just spike him with whatever you feel works best. He doesn't have quite the defensive capabilities like the last couple of bosses had where you likely needed Shon's Piercing Sword to kill them off fast.

Afterwards, Sieg & Shon run into a very well dressed character, one of many prisoners here. After some words, he takes his leave and preparations are made to go to the next destination.

Shon really wants to become the team's physical tank, doesn't he?
