*Warning! - Heavy spoilers ahead! You have been warned.*

The Last Promise was created by Blazer and is a hack for Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. This hack is a full length adventure filled with danger, some new items & classes as well as music, and a very well balanced difficulty curve.

You can head to the following site to keep up with the latest news regarding the hack and download the latest version of it:

ROM should be easy enough to find on your own.

Did my usual offscreen shuffle here by running through a few stars again to get some key items and leveling up some units for this very difficult mission.

Team members going into this star are Anakin, Regis, Lirianna, Rex, Apollo, Rana, Zach, Mark, Lahar, Emma, Kelik, and Frederick.

This is quite a difficult star. There are no named enemy units, but they are much more powerful than the ones encountered in the last star. Most enemies come packed with at least 65-80 hp, very high stats, and some nasty weaponry, some of which is all new.

First and foremost, you want either a few people with siege tomes or someone capable of using Ultimatum. The Druid to your immediate west has a Craze staff. No I don't want berserk getting tossed on someone, thanks.

The Sage to the east has a Thunderbolt tome. Still dangerous, but a lower priority in taking out right away.

The worst of this map is the huge army to the north. Some units are packing stuff you've seen before, but several units are packing magnum level equipment. Basically, imagine something stronger than silver weaponry, toss in a +5 bonus to speed, and you've got magnum weaponry in a nutshell.

Also of interesting importance is a green army unit...in the middles of no less than eight enemies. He's Neku, an interesting fellow. Very high offensive stats, good dodging capabilities, average defenses. Problem is those enemies. He'd have to get mad lucky to not drop from being rushed on all sides.

If you want to save him, get him out of danger with Savior. He will not move on his attack phase, but if any enemies are in his attack range, he will attack them.

Now, for the enemies. Nothing short of careful play here will see you through this level. Try to get too reckless and you WILL lose units to the sheer might of the magnum weaponry wielding units (Seriously, that Druid with Magnum Shade? Total of 61 attack with that weapon equipped).

If you need a tank, your best option is to toss Munio on Lahar and have him equip it anytime you're planning to draw out some enemies.

After a hair-raising battle, you'll get your reward. Sadly it is not Neku, but the compensation is the very awesome Magnum Bliss staff. It has 5 uses and, when used, fully refills your team's HP. Doesn't matter how far away they are, this sucker hits the entire map. This will be a godsend for the next star, which, if you think this star was nasty...the next one will make this star seems like child's play.

Honestly, I deserved to lose this battle more than once due my own boneheaded moves, but whatever, I made it through.
