*Warning! - Heavy spoilers ahead! You have been warned.*

The Last Promise was created by Blazer and is a hack for Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. This hack is a full length adventure filled with danger, some new items & classes as well as music, and a very well balanced difficulty curve.

You can head to the following site to keep up with the latest news regarding the hack and download the latest version of it:

ROM should be easy enough to find on your own.

Second half of the Tower of the Chosen, this time dealing with a few maps you can play through.

First up, Siegfried on the night his wife, Lily, was killed. He's still trying to make haste to the town before the fated encounter and you'll get to control him on a map with several Assassins. A couple have Killing Edges, but that's the only danger. Since he has his Raikiri sword, he'll have no trouble here. There's a time limit though and it doesn't exactly allow for detours. Just focus on getting to that town and only kill enemies when you need to. The reward for clearing this map is an Angelic Wing.

Next up, Galagar as he's about to assault Aegis. Like the last map, you're on a time limit here so you'll want to move Galagar through the halls as quickly as possible and let enemies come to him if they want to die (Since Galagar isn't getting hit here and all that). You'll get an Inferno tome for your reward here.

The final map involves Lirianna. In the scenes before the map kicks off, we find that she's someone you do NOT want to anger, that's for damn sure.

Anyways, the final map involves taking a fort filled with random enemies. A small squadron of decoys kicks things off on the western side of the map for a couple turns before Lirianna and her four allies jump into the fray outside on the eastern half of the map.

While you could sleepwalk through the last two maps, this one actually is challenging. Sleepwalking through it will get you killed rather quickly.

First off, Lirianna comes with the same equipment she had in the Seventh Star (Divine Sword & Delphi Shield), but now she's added a Steel Lance & Elixirs to her inventory.

Right away, there's a large group of enemies to the south. You should have Lirianna approach them slowly and only attract one or two units at a time. Once her allies catch up and start trying to distract them, she should make a break southwards, but stay on the eastern most side of the snow outside. That's because there's a Bishop in the throne room with a Craze staff. If he focuses on Lirianna's crew or any surviving decoys, you'd better hope Lirianna isn't near any of them or, worse yet, she isn't hit by it herself. That could very well end in a failure if you're unlucky.

Once that Craze staff is all used up, it's a matter of slowly chipping away at the horde of enemies until you reach the Halberdier on the throne. Fairly annoying to kill since Lirianna isn't going to have a super high hit rate against that unit, maybe around the 70s or so with her Steel Lance. Any green army units still alive and near the throne will help out Lirianna greatly here in downing the Halberdier.

Once that enemy drops, have Lirianna seize the throne and you'll get an Iron Rune for your troubles.

With everything done in the Tower of Chosen, you can exit via the southern steps to get back to the Constellation.

Lirianna's map was a nail biter when those Craze castings were going off and most of the green army units bit it as well. One Pegasus Knight though was at 13 HP and refused to go down quietly. Odds favor that one being the girl getting a very stern talking to by Lirianna at the start of this map, heh.

Anyways, offscreen duties so I can recruit Lahar again and get my team of 12 in a position to tackle the Ninth Star next time.
