This is my personal review of "The Last Story". I was pretty excited about "The Last Story though the constanlty changing release date(such as it was said to be released at july, but then got pushed to august) got me a bit annoyed. But after getting the game and doing a playthrough of it, I would like to give my overall opinion on it.(also have to add that the cover of the game rocks, seriously. One of the best game cover for the Nintendo Wii)

The Last Story is a rpg with a real time combat system that is a mix of a hack and slash, tps shooting/cover mechainc, and strategy elements. It took me around 22 hours to beat the game. There is also a NG+ feature after you beat the game. There is also extra chapters you can do in the game which will add to the cast of characters. There is also traditional side quests in the game.

Summary


The Last Story is a pretty good-great game. It got a good story (even if it has been done before), fantastic graphics for the Nintendo Wii, a good cast of characters and a unique combat system that is tons of fun to playthrough. There are issues that holds it back such as how dull the environments can be, limited exploration, and the frame rate issues. But overall, I say it's a game that is worth owning if you got the Nintendo Wii.
