Hey everyone, something a bit different today in a mini series of civilization 7 theory crafting and research vids I'm making - today considering what kind of civs and leaders will be in Sid Meier's Civilization 7! To do this, while we build our civ 7 rumor wishlist and await an official civilization 7 release date or even a civ 7 gameplay, I listened to the leader designer of Civ -t Anton Strenger, (technically a lead designer/ designer/ programmer at Firaxis for over 10 years) who held key roles in the Civilization 5 DLC right through to Civilization 6's New Frontier Pass and all the game updates, expansions, leaders and more that went with it! In this video, in my own words, I'll reflect on the facts Anton presented, and how some of them may guide the development of civs and leaders in future new civ games (and specifically how the New Frontier Pass was shaped by these ideas). Including embracing the what if histories, the myths and legends, and the role of (as the presentation was entitled): Ahistorical Accuracy - bringing new myths & representation to civilizations.
