Civilization 6 has arguably been the most successful and played 4x historical strategy game of all time, and for good reason. With Civilisation 7 (civ 7) historically being 'overdue' at this point, some 6 years post-release, I've been thinking a lot about what civ 7 gameplay features might look like, and how the series can evolve (perhaps using inspiration from similar titles like Humankind and the upcoming Ara: History Untold) and deliver the best 4x historical strategy game in 2023 (?) for steam gamers. So, civ 7 rumours and release dates aside - here are some key gameplay features from my civ 7 Wishlist.
