Summary:

For the gun testing quest, win 15 battles on Tratt Plains with the prototype equipped to get full BP. I don't know if event battles like Tratt Plains Monster counts.

For the stolen sign quest , examine the back of the clock tower, examine the capel and look up universal tech, examine Forgel Bar's chimneys, and talk to Faye.

Tratt Plains Monster: Mantrap x3

These enemies can inflict sleep and blind. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any sleep resistance at the moment other than Crest Charms.

Kaldia Tunnel Monster: Whale Frog Male x4 and Female

Poison resistance should be enough, though they can spawn more enemies over time.

When training with the Leiston soldiers, be sure to equip freeze resistance. Eventually, Colonel Cid will join in and he'll keep trying to cast a huge art. Remember to use Clock Down to give your team more time to break his cast. After winning, you get the Gladiator Headband.

Since this video includes the battle with Cid, I'm sure Veghesther will attempt to get in the last word, as always.
