The Legend of Tiger & Phoenix - frustrating, confusing, & unfair game (teddyras)
3This game caused me great pain and suffering for a whole 2 hours. It was probably one of the most enjoyable stream experiences of the past year lol. Tiger and Phoenix expects you to just always be ready for cutscenes with horrible pacing and quick time events that come with no notice and hardly any time to react. Also it expects you to mash at a super human level and deal with what has been described as "serial killer controls". The controller didn't work at all for part 1, but the controls are ABXY, like on a gamepad, but you have to use your keyboard, part 2 you have to hold caps lock to sprint, half the buttons do weird things that don't help. Honestly this might be the best kuso game in the modern era: it's just such a good combination of hostile game design, weird controls, things being broken, bad weird cutscenes where it doesn't even matter that the translation sucks, it would be strange regardless. This was a good time, I do not recommend playing this game, but it's a good time. Also people have beaten chapter 1, I have witnessed it, I don't have the patience for it lol.
