Alright with some difficulty I beat the boss of the 4th dungeon. That boss really sucks to fight with or without save states mainly because much like the 3rd boss it quickly becomes projectile city. In any case now that he's out of the way, I can move on to grab a few more heart pieces and work on preparing for the next dungeon.
