Mysterious Forest to Tail Cave

The owl appears again and gives Link some advice on where to go next. After exploring the forest, he finds a mushroom and takes it to a nearby hut where a witch lives. She makes some Magic Powder to aid him...which helped with a raccoon with a sensitive nose.

After finding a strange key, the owl appears again and tells him to head to the area near Toronbo Shores and use the key there. Once he arrives and uses the key, he enters the Tail Cave...
