Kondo successfully writes music to enhance the gameplay and visuals. For example, Kondo creates dance rhythms to make this piece sound lively and encourage Link to find Koume. The sixteenth-note melody which changes directions represents Link exploring the Woods of Mystery to find Koume. Also, the use of the "a" harmonic minor scale creates an exotic atmosphere in the potion shop. These are some compositional techniques which Kondo successfully uses.
