I'll always respect this game for starting the Legend of Zelda series, but I personally don't like it. I don't think it's that fun to play. The way the combat is designed has many small annoyances that keep it from being enjoyable. The one major thing this game had going for it, the exploration, also falls flat. If you use a guide, it completely removes the exploration factor from the game. If you don't use a guide, you have to spend a lot of time burning bushes, bombing walls, and grinding for Rupees to buy more bombs. I have played this game using both methods and found it to be terrible. Luckily, Zelda II is a great game, and A Link to the Past is everything this game failed at plus more.
