Welcome back to more of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time", in which I'm currently playing the Japanese Version.

So far, I've completed the Great Deku Tree's dungeon, claimed the Fairy Slingshot with 30 Deku Seeds, defeated Gohma (the boss), obtained the Fairy Ocarina from Saria and even met the owl, Kepora Gebora.

Now, I will start Part 3 by returning to Kokiri Forest and head for the Lost Woods; I accidentally go left to play the Ocarina when I was MEANT to go right. Here, I first shoot the target three times for a perfect 100 each time and the Deku Scrub rewards me with a Deku Seed upgrade (giving me 40), then I go down and use the Ocarina to practice three sessions; Session #1 for a Green Rupee (worth one), Session #2 for a Blue Rupee (worth five) and Session #3 for a Piece of Heart.

With Heart Piece #1 collected, I now leave the forest and go to Lon Lon Ranch while battling Stalchildren and collecting Rupees along the way. Once in the ranch, I get Link to meet Ingo, then quickly leave and head for the Hyrule Castle Town Market. There, I enter the first house to collect some more Rupees and break a few crates; one of the crates has an insect. We kill the insect and collect a token for defeating Gold Skulltula #1!

Next, I go to the Shooting Gallery and I pay 20 Rupees there; I fail after a few free tries, then pay another 20 and try again; one more free try then allows me to succeed and when I do, Link is rewarded with the second and final upgrade for Deku Seeds (giving me 50). Next, I leave the gallery and talk to a girl from Lon Lon Ranch whose name is Malon. She is worried about her father Talon as he has not returned to the ranch.

Now, I head for Hyrule Castle to meet again with Kepora Gebora (the owl), then bump into the nearby tree to collect Gold Skulltula #2. From there, I will talk to one of the guards, but he doesn't allow Link to pass, so I quickly leave the castle only to find that Malon is not there, so I go back and talk to her. She gives Link a Cucco Egg and, with it, I control Link as he makes his way to the back of the castle while dodging the guards along the way.

As I get closer, you'll notice a man sleeping; I must wait until morning for the Cucco Egg to hatch, then use the hatched Cucco Chicken to wake the man up. He introduces himself as Talon and Link tells him that Malon is worried about him. Because of this, Talon dashes to return to Lon Lon Ranch, then I use the nearby Milk Crates and push and pull them until Link is given access to crawl through the nearby hole and enter the castle's courtyard.

In this courtyard, Link must again avoid getting caught by Hyrule Castle's guards as I control him to reach Princess Zelda at the end. Once done, you'll first notice two windows (one on the left and the other on the right). If you shoot a Deku Seed at the left window, a Hyrule Castle guard will get angry at Link and throw a Bomb at you; on the right window, you'll notice cameo appearances from the Mario franchise.

Characters:
1. Wing Cap Mario (Super Mario 64)
2. Princess Peach (Mario Kart 64)
3. Bowser
4. Luigi
5. Yoshi (Yoshi's Story)

Link and the princess meet, explains about a dream she had. She explains that the dream was part of a prophecy that someone came from the forest with a fairy. She then explains about the Legend of Hyrule; after that, she thinks that the "black clouds" from her dream symbolize the antagonist of the game, Ganondorf. Link checks through her window and notices him; but Ganondorf does not know what Link and Zelda are planning. Zelda also explains about the musical instrument in this game, the Ocarina of Time.

Zelda says she will use her power to protect the Ocarina of Time and asks Link to find two more Spiritual Stones. After the meeting is over, Link then meets Zelda's attendant Impa and she teaches him the first of many Ocarina songs, Princess Zelda's Lullaby; music plays a very important role in this game, so Zelda's Lullaby will come in handy for some of the missions to be completed in the later dungeons.

After we learn Zelda's Lullaby, Impa leads Link out of Hyrule Castle and she tells him to head for where we're going next, Kakariko Village (where Impa lives). Impa uses a Deku Nut to disappear, thus Link's quest continues.

However, I will not continue from here. Next time in Part 4, we will resume with more of this game!
