Welcome to my 2nd full gameplay of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" for the Nintendo 64!

Last time, I played through the USA Wii Virtual Console version with commentary; this time, I will play the Japanese original version (WITHOUT commentary), and it will be based on Version 1.0.

My friend Mike, WatchMePlayNintendo, reviewed this game on the actual N64 system and he used a Capture Card to play his copy of the Gold cartridge.

This is Part 1, in which I will show you guys the title screen three times, followed by the demos of the game.

Demo 1 - The protagonist, Link, meets two witches and a woman
Demo 2 - Link meets another character who teaches him something
Demo 3 - Cutscene with the antagonist, Ganondorf, and his horse

Now, I will get started by putting Link's name and the first cutscene is played; the cutscene shows Link having a nightmare. The nightmare is about him, the princess of Hyrule, Zelda, and her attendant; Zelda runs away from Ganondorf, then the cutscene ends.

Now, the Great Deku Tree asks Navi the Fairy to seek Young Link (who is the only character to not have a fairy). Navi wakes Link up from his sleep and she introduces herself. Link leaves his house and we now discover that we are in the Kokiri Forest.

There, Link meets one of his friends, Saria; afterwards, I will control Link to get the hidden Kokiri Sword and also to collect some rupees to buy a Deku Shield in the Kokiri Shop. Next, I leave the shop and collect more rupees to buy a Deku Stick and some Deku Nuts.

From there, I meet Mido and he angrily lets Link pass with Navi; after that, I listen to what the Great Deku Tree has to say. After Link accepts the courage to go through the tree, I stop from there and that concludes Part 1.

The dungeon of the Great Deku Tree will be next in Part 2.
