Welcome to Part 2 of the Japanese Version of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time", in which I am playing V1.0!

Last time, I got the Kokiri Sword, and I also bought the Deku Shield, a Deku Stick and some Deku Nuts; also, we met Saria, Mido and the Great Deku Tree.

Now, I will control Link as I go inside the tree; from there, I battle a few Deku Babas and they drop some more Deku Nuts. Afterwards, Navi explains about climbable walls. I reach the upper area and I open the Treasure Chest containing the Dungeon Map inside.

Next, I head to the following room and Navi explains about doors. From there, I enter and deflect the attack from the Deku Scrub. He takes the hit and surrenders, then I enter the following room. I go up the climbable walls here and open the Treasure Chest with a Fairy Slingshot inside containing 30 Deku Seeds.

Continuing onwards, I climb up the wall nearby and open up a small Treasure Chest containing a Recovery Heart inside. Following that, I return to the main area; now that I have the Deku Seeds, I can use the Fairy Slingshot to aim at the Skullwalltulas blocking the path. After I clear the climbable walls of those enemies, I control Link and reach the top and enter the next room.

In this area, I use a Deku Stick to light up the nearby torch, allowing me to exit. But I also activate the nearby switch to raise the platforms. I jump from platform to platform until I open the Treasure Chest with the Compass inside, then repeat the process to reach the other Treasure Chest with a Recovery Heart.

Now, I will return to the main area again; here, I use a Deku Nut to stun the big Skulltula. I try to jump on the Spider Web below, but I miss it and take damage, then I climb all the way to the top and try again. This time I succeed and below, I activate a switch that activates a nearby unlit torch. Next, I open the small Treasure Chest containing a Recovery Heart, then I use a Deku Stick to urn the nearby Spider Web and open the door to the following room.

Here, I defeat the Deku Scrub and he gives me the code, leading me to the boss, 2-3-1. Now, I use a Deku seed to activate the Eye Switch, leading me to the new room. There, Navi explains about how to dive underwater. I get in there, press A to dive and activate the switch, decreasing the water level a little bit so that I can get on the platform and not take damage.

Once done, I defeat another Big Skulltula and Navi explains about pushing blocks. I push the block, and I can proceed to the adjacent room. I battle the Deku Babas giving me Deku Sticks and Nuts, and I use one Deku Stick to light up the torches, allowing access to the following area.

Here, I have to again use a Deku Stick to burn the spider webs to grant me access to the other side of the basement room. From there, use another Deku Stick to burn the spider web on the floor and then deflect the Deku Scrubs' attacks with the Deku Shield with the given code.

After attacking them in the correct order, Deku Scrub #1 will get angry and allow access to the Deku Tree's boss, Gohma. To defeat this boss, first look her in the eye, then when she climbs up to the ceiling, aim at her eye with the Deku Seeds. This will stun her! Attack the eye with the sword to defeat her; if she's still alive, let her go up and repeat the process with the Deku Seeds to drop her and attack until she is done for!

After I defeat Gohma, I collect a Heart Container, giving me more health. Now, I exit the Great Deku Tree, and he explains the story about Ganondorf (Demo #3 showing in Part 1), and the tree later explains about the Legend of Hyrule.

After the story is explained, the Great Deku Tree dies (despite Link's efforts to break the curse), but not without telling Link and Navi that they should head to Hyrule Castle. However, I will not do that in this video.

AND, I don't end the recording there, because after we finish the dungeon, Mido is angry and blames Link for letting the Great Deku Tree die. Now, we leave the Kokiri Forest and head for the Hyrule Field, but not without talking to Saria. She gives Link the Fairy Ocarina, and then he meets the owl, Kepora Gebora. This concludes Part 2!

In Part 3, I will head for Hyrule Castle!
