After finding our way to Crescent Island in a similar method to Link's Awakening, we lose our items (thanks to the locals taking them) and eventually get them all back through a rather convoluted back and forth. Thankfully, the third dungeon makes up for that tedium.

Shortly after that, we get our permanent animal companion for the journey, and make our way to the Symmetry City Ruins. In the past, we find out that their Tuni Nut has broken. This causes everything to go out of balance, leading to the eventual destruction of the city from the formerly dormant volcano. Upon restoring it, and returning to our hero's present time, we can take on the fourth dungeon. I forgot how much of a thing the tile path puzzles can be, causing me to end up looking up a guide for the last one. Next time, I'll be better prepared....somehow.
