During a vacation to Dinosaur Land, after the events in Super Mario Bros. 3, Princess Peach has yet again been kidnapped by the evil King Koopa himself, Bowser. Stopping by the place of a friendly dinosaur, by the name of Yoshi, our adventurers find out that all of Yoshi's friends have been captured and placed inside of eggs. Now, they must explore the new lands in search of Princess Peach, defeating Bowser and the Koopalings once again on their way.

There are so many different exits to find across the eight different worlds (96 to be exact), some of which being hidden within a few stages, that it took my younger self a good number of months to find them all (maybe even years.....it's been a good while). Thankfully, nowadays, this game doesn't really pose much of a challenge for me with how I normally go about it. So, now I've gone and given myself the challenge of playing without using flight unless needed to reach exits. Which, so far, has actually given some funny moments that make me remember why I love the cape so much (as well as the blue Yoshi).
