Welcome to the eleventh part of our Wind Waker playthrough.

In this episode, we enter the portal revealed by the Tower of the Gods and descend beneath the waves. We arrive in the legendary kingdom of Hyrule, preserved in a giant bubble but frozen in time and rendered in black and white.

Our path through the silent Hyrule Castle leads us to a puzzle involving two statues. After solving it, the barrier to the castle's basement is broken, revealing the pedestal of the Master Sword. We pull the legendary blade from its stone, and in doing so, restore color and life to the forgotten kingdom as time resumes.

Unfreezing time also awakens the castle's monsters. To escape, we must defeat all the Moblins and Darknuts that now block our path. After returning to the Great Sea, we make a quick pit stop to use our bombs on some boulders before setting our course for our true destination: the Forsaken Fortress.
