The Life and Death struggle of a 4 star Operator: Mousse in Daily 11 Risk 15 CC#11 - Arknights
Once upon a time, I remembered and recalled about hearing these famous words from Karen, of the popular video game, Pokemon Gold and Silver:
"Strong Pokemon. Weak Pokemon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites."
While it might not look true as it is obvious that many people said that it is pointless taking on such challenge that is basically a death wish without the strongest, I don't think you really need to only always bring the best operators just to fight off these challenges.
For me, Skalter, Warfarin and Shamare are already considered the best operators for me since they can assist other operators to achieve what they thought they couldn't.
And now, I even dared to bring Mousse. OF ALL OPERATORS that I could picked to tank Manfred. I could have chose Saria. I could brought Eunectes. Yet I choose what I think who still has a point in this. I was expecting Mousse's ATK debuff would do something good for this chapter. And even though I was wrong, I still had the high moral ground. I believed that if you get really creative and actually use the operators in a good synergy, they can just do as well as the strongest ones.
Just because "this operator is not top tier, because they aren't Surtr/Ch'en the Holungday/Ling/Pozyomka/Mlynar/Texas the Omertoza" (and that is just to name a few) or "is not the best in their archetype", does NOT mean you should never try using them. Only by truly connecting and giving them a chance along with giving real effort to strategy that you can witness true wonders in the battlefield itself.
