The Light of Hidden Flowers - Evan Handyside (ambient, World guitar) + TAB

My thematic inspiration for this piece was love sonnet XVII, by Pablo Neruda. Specifically this line:
"I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz, or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off. I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul. I love you as the plant that never blooms but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers"
My musical inspiration for "The Light of Hidden Flowers", would be Epilogue, by Gustavo Santaolalla. I just love the ambiguity in Santaolalla's film music; you really can't pinpoint a style, or country of origin. The music is always surprising, with shimmering major lifts out of nowhere.. https://youtu.be/JqDYHR_9NmA?si=A9Xz-05KM4Js8BBU
I hope to have this piece released on streaming the coming weeks.
