The Lion King for many systems is a fun, if very difficult platformer; the NES version... isn't. Being a rather rushed port of the already sloppy (but at least good effort) Game Boy version, it manages to somehow be worse with terrible graphics, and cutting out half the levels.

Need I mention THIS was the last officially licensed NES game (May 27, 1995, in Europe)? One heck of a downer to end the console's legacy on. It's telling when the bootleg NES port ends up being better overall than this piece of junk. The developer of this game was Enigma Variations (then known as Dark Technologies), whose last game was Tiny Troops for the Amiga in 1997.
