Sonic 3D Blast (Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island in Europe/Japan) is the last original Sonic game for the Genesis, releasing in November 1996 in North America and Europe; it was not released in Japan until Sonic Mega Collection in 2003. The gameplay is a mix of the traditional Sonic formula (albeit with an isometric perspective) and the Flicky arcade game.

While not the best of Sonic's Genesis games, if you can get past some of the isometric jank, it still manages to be a decently entertaining time.
