We've been in the pleasant valley region for quite a while now. I have been trying to do some exploring to probe the area and find an exit to Timberwolf Mountain for when I'd like to travel there. Exploration has led me to an abandoned shack near a rope that ascends a cliff into the mountains.

The Long Dark is a thoughtful, exploration-survival experience that challenges solo players to think for themselves as they explore an expansive frozen wilderness in the aftermath of a geomagnetic disaster. There are no zombies -- only you, the cold, and all the threats Mother Nature can muster.
