In this part, we start by heading through Route 12 and defeating all the trainers there. Near the end of the route, we stumble upon the same Snorlax that blocked our way back in Vermilion. We use the Poke Flute to wake it up, then enter a battle with it. In order to catch Snorlax, we need to defeat it first (within a time limit), before we can enter the standard Catching Phase. After catching Snorlax, we continue on and remind Mr. Dazzling of his name to get the TM for Dazzling Gleam. We also manage to catch Farfetch'd, Kingler, and Weepinbell (you can also find Pinsir here, but I didn't.) We then navigate the fence maze of trainers on Routes 13 and 14, before heading down Route 14 and catching Venomoth and Tauros. Next, we finish off the Route and receive the Assistant Set of clothing from Professor Oak's Assistant just before reaching Fuchsia City. Lastly, we arrive in the Pokémon Center and receive the ability to get April's final three special moves. The first is Sappy Seed, which is a Grass-Type Move. It deals damage and also inflicts a Leech Seed on the enemy, draining their health every turn and healing April with what was drained. The second is Freezy Frost, which is an Ice-Type Move. It deals damage while also removing any stat changes on the field (such as your opponent increases their own attack, or lowering yours). The third is Sparkly Swirl, which is a Fairy-Type Move. It deals damage while also curing any status ailments April may have (Poison, Paralysis, etc). These final three moves are in honor of Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon.
