In this part, we explore Celadon City and run into Brock who gives us Tea (This Tea is the item required to allow the 4 guards to let us into Saffron City finally). Afterwards, we take on the Celadon Gym and defeat Erika and her Grass-Type Pokémon (As the majority are either Grass or Poison, Fire and Psychic moves work well here). Once we win, we recieve the Rainbow Badge. Finally, we explore the Celadon Department Store which carries almost everything. I personally buy a Black Bandana for April, giving her a black ribbon on her ear for the rest of the game.
