In this chapter, April explores Klacks' laboratory, arms herself with an impressive arsenal of magic spells, frees the wind, releases the evil wizard's prisoners, and makes it back to Marcuria without a scratch. Once there, she proceeds to find a navigator for Captain Nebevay (a Dolmari woman by the name of Tun Luiec), gets some final advice from Vestrum Tobias, and embarks on a journey to the Isle of Alais, only to become unexpectedly derailed by the Storm of Chaos and a slight inability to correctly aim with the axe.
