Lootboxes have plagued the gaming industry for a while and The Loot-box Scandal of 2017 is one of the main reasons most games no longer have loot boxes. In today's video I will be going over all the events that led to this 'loot-box scandal' from Battlefront 2' (EA) had a loot box scandal which was headed by Chris Lee (Hawaii's state representative) as well as many other games that incorporated Lootboxes such as Overwatch, CS:GO and many others.
