Artoria Pendragon's backstory in Fate Stay Night is rather complex, and quite a bit different from her historical legends. For the longest time, we've had the Garden of Avalon sound drama to go off of, but it turns out Nasu's original novel written back in 2015 has a lot more detail. Thanks to translators Yusuke and Manolo, we now have that novel in English. For this video series, I'll be analyzing the text and commenting on it with all I know from other Type Moon works.
