A strange thing can happen with Luxray sometimes, and that is that it can steal textures and take on a new appearance. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there's actually a few Pokemon who have been spotted with strange texture glitches or bugs to make them have certain things in appearance that they normally shouldn't have. These are super strange, interesting, and rare -- but Luxray seems to be able to "steal" textures a lot more easily than other Pokemon! As people have shown and reported, this is actually a pretty easy thing to see happen. After I tried it a few times by entering picnics with Luxray and a full party, I had these to show and this video is mostly just to showcase those! The new Luxray coats I got weren't as wild as some I've seen, but they were still incredibly cool and strange to see in game. I definitely recommend trying it for yourself, or seeing what other people have been able to pull off and see on their Luxrays with weird textures!
