"Animepril" 2018 snuck up on ya, didn't it?! As a quick one to kick things off, I thought I'd do something a little different: not a review of a specific series, but rather a TV station's block of anime called "Made in Japan"! First shown on Fox Family (later ABC Family) in the US, this block aired the Ruby-Spears Mega Man cartoon, Monster Rancher, Flint the Time Detective and Digimon Adventure 01. On this weekend's Kirblog, I recount my memories of discovering this on Sunday morning, a few experiences with these shows and more! Curious as to what your guys' thoughts are on not only these shows, but perhaps if you caught this very block on TV! Also, if you got some suggestions for shows I haven't covered yet, make some suggestions in the comments below!
