Jacob accepts the invitation and visits London's mastermind criminal, Maxwell Roth. Roth, the Blighter's leader, tells Jacob he has been keeping his eye on him for his battle against Starrick. He wants to work with him to take down Starrick.

First, Roth makes him blow up some explosives owned by Starrick at the train station. Then both capture three of Starrick's associates in an effort to take away his control over the borough. Finally, he takes him to Starrick's workshop where weapons are manufactured. Roth makes him rig dynamites around the workshop to blow it up. And just when its about to explode, Jacob sees children going inside. Roth indifferent of the situation continues, but Jacob jumps in and saves all the children. After this, Roth sends him a letter ending their brief 'adventures' and invites to his show.

Jacob infiltrates Alhambra Music Hall. Roth knowing Jacob is present, sets the place on fire while guests are still inside. Finding the way, Jacob assassinates Maxwell Roth and ends his menace.

Starrick is fully aware of his crumbling empire. All of his friends and associates, businesses, political power being taken down by the Assassins. Only he remains as the last man standing. Thus, he takes the matter into his own hands.

Back in the train hideout, Jacob and Evie once again get into serious argument about their approach. Henry steps in, and informs them that Starrick has planned a ball at the Buckingham Palace and intends to steal the Piece Of Eden and kill all the head of church and state. Hearing this, Jacob and Evie team up once again...for the last time.
