Confused? Read here if you want clarification before watching.

Hold on tight, because there's a whole lotta explaining I have to do. First off, what is this? I guess I'm calling this a "Re-Presentation", where I recreate parts of presentations I've done in the past to demonstrate what I was, and currently am, capable of doing in terms of presentation, information, knowledge, creativity, entertainment, and other things (Yes, that's the wordplay behind "Re-presentation" or "representation"). Since I really like presenting and making presentations, I figured I would have to leave some aspect of that on the channel. Nothing made me more satisfied than making people laugh or smile after putting on a good show, even though all of it was just for some "school presentation" (Although, to clarify, it is still an educative experience, and isn't entirely for the sake of making it fun). For me, it was too easy to make a simple informative presentation that would bore everyone to death, and be identical to everyone else's boring presentations, so I'd always take the extra step to spice things up. Initially, it was making fun parody songs with my friends, and then it evolved to homemade costumes and light roleplay, all for the sake of livening things up. Resume-wise, saying that I presented in school presentations probably won't hold for much unless I have something to show for it, showing the extra work I do beyond what is required.

Now, about the presentation itself. This was part of a 3-hour seminar that I had to do in a University Psychology course about human nature, discussing whether or not death has a significance in life meaning. However, you've probably noticed at this point that the "argument" is one-sided, or that general flow may be odd or off at some points. That's because this was a group-based assignment, and I had a partner who would argue for the other side. However, this was the worst collaborative partner I've ever worked alongside (which may or may not be due to circumstances beyond their power), and so, it was fairly easy for me to make the choice of removing their segments and doing it on my own as the perspective of Death (Yes, I did play that role with the hood over my face for the entirety of the 3 hours). As I mention in the presentation itself, it also needed to involve generating discussion with the audience and had to be an argumentative piece that reached some form of conclusion. Despite the circumstances behind the presentation, this was honestly the best presentation I've done at that time, and I wanted to see if I can brush off the dust and do it again (In time for its anniversary, I might add). Although I do miss the lively discussion that occurred at the time, the spirit of presentation was still there.

Technically speaking, this is the culmination of a fair amount of things I learned, and adding a bit more difficulty to what I know and adding some new twists. First off, I recently got gifted a camera for my work, and so I decided to test it through some viable means, although I don't anticipate it being in much more besides covers. But I wanted to see if I can at least get it at a working state for editing. Figuring out camera presence and space (especially with a hood all up in your face) was an additional challenge. I also wanted something bigger and more significant to edit as a means of trying out more editing, and working on 3 separate scenes seemed to show me a few new things that I can use. Learning how to sync audio and video was also something that I've always wanted to apply, since they were recorded separately.

And that should be everything from me this time 'round. A lot to unpack behind this big project, but this is an important card for me to play, so I need to make the most of it. I don't really see there being many Re-Presentations, since I did show off most of what I wanted to show here, but there are still other surprises that I've pulled in the past that I would love to reveal. Still plenty of fun to make, and does make me miss the "stages" I've worked on, but I hope that this does give an new insight on what I do and how I do things.
