The MegaDrive/Genesis Could Be System-Linked for Co-Op Play!?
One game was released for the Sega MegaDrive that allowed system link co-op gaming by way of a system-link cable.
Zero Tolerance, developed by TechnoPop and published by Accolade in 1994 was released with a link-play option.
TechnoPop declared the wiring diagram to be open source and declared the game to be freeware when they folded. Both can be found on their website.
An unfinished sequel, Beyond Zero Tolerance is also available in partially playable form.
