This async was very interesting as it contained the map from one of the punishment hacks which is meant to be very annoying.

Asyncs are races that can be done at any time. The seeds get posted at the beginning of the month and you can do them whenever you want and post your time to the leaderboard. The most interesting part of asyncs is that the settings are not known when you start. You need to figure out what the settings are by playing the seed. The settings are randomized based on a pool of settings that get altered by the winner of each race in the previous month.

The punishment hack map makes some changes to the overworld and dungeons to make things more interesting and annoying. It is meant to be trolly and more difficult while also making you think of new solutions when the paths you are used to are blocked off.

Obscure locations are locations that contain a hidden item. These include digging spots, underwater items, and items inside pots.

Open fusions considers all minor kinstone fusions as already complete, so it opens up a ton of chests and item caves all over the world.

Rupee mania puts all of the free standing rupees into the item pool, greatly increasing the amount of checks available.
