The mongols have an interesting tech tree which os the most unique in the game. The Mongols have pastures instead of farms and the get replaces all resource drop off buildings. The Mongols also have the ovoo that is the only way to gather stone. The Mongols have the Khan which replaces the scout and has a lot of special abilities and respawns if killed. The khan gets better through the ages. The mongols also have unique units such as the tranction trebuchet and the mangudai.

The Mongols in age of empires 4 are a strong unit and are very fun to play.

All civs in age of empires 4 have the same generic technologies with the only variation being re-skins of units or extra unique units and tech. This can make age of empires iv feel a little samey despite the huge differences in civ bonuses and unique techs and units. all of the standard economy techs within a building are the same for each civ so because none of these are excluded from the tech tree, you should get a good idea of how to play the game with just having to focus on the unique tech tree of each civ.

AoE4 is a fun game to play and i hope it is a huge success upon release. This was recorded during the age of empires 4 tech stress test and my have changed upon release of the full game.
