The Rus have access to early knights and have great unique units - the horse archer, streltsy and warrior monk.

The Rus have good unique buildings such as the hunting cabin and wooden fortress. The Rus have quite a strange range of dock units that will be interesting to see if they are good or not.

All civs in age of empires 4 have the same generic technologies with the only variation being re-skins of units or extra unique units and tech. This can make age of empires iv feel a little samey despite the huge differences in civ bonuses and unique techs and units. all of the standard economy techs within a building are the same for each civ so because none of these are excluded from the tech tree, you should get a good idea of how to play the game with just having to focus on the unique tech tree of each civ.

AoE4 is a fun game to play and i hope it is a huge success upon release. This was recorded during the age of empires 4 tech stress test and my have changed upon release of the full game.
