The Mountain (bitsy) Free Retro Pixel Art Interactive Fiction Adventure Game
I haven't even heard of bitsy up to know but it seems it's a website to programm html games with a lot of story and some walking around and seems easy enough to tell great stories. And what a compelling and intriguing story about life and loss this game tells, as if the author knew a thing or two about storytelling. Once I started I was hooked, time spent really well!
The graphics are really impressive for so few colors (like... 7or8?) and the little pixel canvas. Still the appartement looks so lifely, I wanted to pet the cat but sadly that didn't work out. Really good cute work.
The music is some haunting ambient drone piece that gets you in the right mood for the story, the game is a playable reflective story and not hard or so (at least puzzlewise...), give it a go!

Synopsis:
A small narrative game about mountains, emptiness, loss, and remembering what it means to be alive.
Inspired by an Annie Dillard passage that has been glancing around my mind like a pebble in a river for nearly half a decade.
“Mountains are giant, restful, absorbent. You can heave your spirit into a mountain and the mountain will keep it, folded, and not throw it back.”
- Annie Dillard, Pilgrim in Tinker Creek
