And here we go, more horror happening on this channel. This time with higher resolution and really bold pixel art to give you all those gory and bloody pixels in higer res. The graphics are really good in this one and I showcase only the demo here, when you like what you see you can always get the fill game from Cosmic Void. Also on Steam!
Since the game is in the first person view there are no animations to see but the stills are really great to look at. There are not even animations for the faces when they talk, that made it a bit hard for me to follow who is talking, as the text is always centered and not above the character that talks and the names are in similar colors. But I can follow the story and it really caught me. The horror elements are really well done, it is dark, it is grimey, it is gory, it is moody and atmospheric, a really good horror game. Sometimes you are in a dark room and investigate the room with a flashlight from your first person view and that is also really setting the tone. lovely.
The music as wells fits the mood, even though it sometimes is more soundscape than music. Some fitting sfx also do happen. The puzzles are tricky at times and not really obvious, sometimes it is obvious what to do and solving things is fun. It is not an easy game, but balanced for adventure enthusiasts.
