I made it to the quarantine wall they built west of here. It's funny, the thing blocks the road, but doesn't go off into the trees. Back before all this started, I guess it was just unthinkable that people would try to get anywhere on foot. Hell, I still almost never travel on foot.

I do wonder how well I would manage these days, if I was out alone, on foot, and a pack of thirty of these monsters come out of nowhere. I'd like to think I'd make it ok, I just don't want to test it.

Today I'm going to head back up by the river, and start looting houses on the way down towards Riverside.
