The NEW VR GAMES Keep Coming in 2024! // NEW Quest 2, PCVR & PSVR2 games JANUARY 2024
1,000Welcome to 2024, another new year filled with NEW VR GAMES for Quest 2, Quest 3, PSVR2 and PCVR (and perhaps other new VR platforms that don't even exist yet, who knows what 2024 has in store!). 2023 ended on a high for VR users, we were blessed with some of the best VR games in years with games like Asgards Wrath 2, Assassins Creed Nexus, Arizona Sunshine 2, Resident Evil 4 Remake VR and many many more. So coming into January 2024 feels like things slowing down considerably. We have just a handful of new VR games launching (that we know of) in January 2024, there are still some big hitters in here like UNDERDOGS & Bulletstorm VR but primarily this a month of smaller indie titles and relaxing experiences like Toy Trains, Crumbling and Micro Machines! We also have the free UEVR mod to go hands on with in January as it releases today at 9pm GMT, it aims to give PC VR users potentially hundreds of Unreal engine games to play in VR, I’ll be check it out at some point in the future.
My personal top pick for this month is Bulletstorm VR, it has the potential to be fantastic but it all depends on the quality of Incuvo's VR port, the original game was a whacky, over the top, skillbased FPS and it's gameplay loop should pair PERFECTLY with VR mechanics and systems. I loved the original and I'm excited to see how this 13 year old game tranfers onto my favourite medium.
