12We continue our journey in the Hoenn region with Pokemon Emerald by taking on our first gym leader and the first big challenge of the run - Roxanne!!
Pokemon as a game has always been a very fun, easily replay-able game series, and one way I (and many other community players) have chosen to play the game is with Nuzlocke rules. This means that I am allowed only 1 encounter per area, if a Pokemon faints, it's perma-death, no items (besides Pokeballs of course!) in battle, set mode, and level caps based on leaders.
