Backstory:
Freelance reporter and adventurer Max Qubit was asked by an unknown entity to shoot 3D footage of the last remaining Thargoid Titan, Cocijo, before it possibly would be destroyed, as was expected at that time. There were only a few days left, so quick action was needed. Max Qubit teamed up with rookie AX commander ShadowLX1, real name Zira Stardust, who was prepared to fly her new Cobra Mk V into the dangerous Thargoid Maelstrom close to Earth in the Sol system in which Cocijo was hiding. Zira said she wanted to go in unarmed as to be focussed on the job of shooting footage and not being distracted by an eagerness to battle. Only defensive utilities were fitted. She assured Max she could do the job of bringing hem close to Cocijo to shoot the desired 3D footage. But she also said that she would take no risks as not all details of going near a titan were known to her. She had to use a defensive style and use her instinct. It was, get in, shoot the footage, and get out alive. Max went along with the plan. He could have opted for a veteran AX commander but rumours have it that he had a crush on the young Cobra commander.
The footage in this video is the near complete run. The first and last part (fly in, fly out) were shot by mounting the 3D camera to the helmet of Zira. The middle part, when closing in on Cocijo, Max took the 3D camera in hand to make the best shots while Zira piloted the Cobra around the immense Titan while trying to stay undetected. Only a few slightly tedious parts were cut. The footage is in 3D and best viewed with a VR headset ... As far as we know it is the only 3D footage of a Thargoid Titan.
Nothing is known about rewards or payments for either Max Qubit or Zira Stardust. Some sources say Max Qubit simply took one for history and 'Team Humans', while others say he was already intrigued by Zira Stardust and this dangerous job was just an excuse to be 'closer' to her. A friend of Zira has stated that Zira had said to her that she did it for the 'excitement'. It had been the right job at the right time for her. No word on what she thought of Max Qubit ...
