Previously, the party continued questing on Monarch. They carried out the faction quest "Pay for the Printer" and fixed up the printing press at Terra One Publications for Graham. In the meantime, they took out some Raptidons and helped out the Van Noys for Zora. After concluding this quest, the party accepted the faction quest "Sucker Bait" from Zora. As the party headed south from Amber Heights, they defeated a Mantiqueen for the task quest "Mr. Pickett's Biggest Game" and found Mr. Pickett's Journal. When the party reached the Fallbrook Crossroads, they fast-traveled back to Stellar Bay and concluded "Mr. Pickett's Biggest Game" with Sebastian. Now, the party will visit Fallbrook, SubLight's unofficial trading hub in the southeast of Monarch. There are a few quest objectives there, including one for Max's companion quest "The Empty Man".
Unreliable:
Davilas resumes aboard the Unreliable. He fast-travels to the Fallbrook Crossroads and takes Parvati and Vicar Max along.
Monarch Wilderness (time 1:46):
The party crosses the bridge south of the crossroads and enters Fallbrook.
Fallbrook (time 3:19):
Just inside town, the party can talk to Mortimer Bell for information about Catherine Malin and the town.
In the first building to the left, the party talks to Nelson Mayson. This moron had the bright idea to use Sprats as drug-carriers. Now, he needs someone to track down his Sprats and his goods. Nelson also gives the party an Adreno and a Drink Voucher for the Ante Up. He issues the task quest "Spratkings". The objective is to search SubLight's shipping tunnels at the other end of town. Nelson gives the party the SubLight Storage Key quest item needed to enter the tunnels.
Next to the SubLight Dry Goods & Sundry shop, the party enters the target house for "The Empty Man". This concludes the objective to track down Reginald Chaney, but he is not home. The next objective is to search Reginald Chaney's domicile.
On a shelf opposite the door, the party finds "Reginald Chaney's Gold Panning Log". This concludes the objective to search Reginald Chaney's domicile. The next objective is to find Reginald Chaney. His location is marked on the river.
Across from the SubLight Dry Goods & Sundry Shop, there is an insurance office of sorts. The party can hack into a terminal upstairs. Downstairs, the party can find a SubLight ID Cartridge quest item in the back room. This is another cartridge for the Holographic Shroud.
Inside SubLight Dry Goods & Sundry, the party talks to Duncan Elley, who is marked for the side quest "Weapons From the Void". They pick up two of his quest items: the SubLight Datapad and the Damaged UDL Datapad. This concludes the objective to search for clues for "Weapons From the Void". The SubLight Datapad adds the objective to acquire the science weapon in the abandoned lab, which is in Cascadia. The Damaged UDL Datapad adds the objective to acquire the science weapon on Monarch, at an abandoned research facility in the wilderness.
The bar is next to SubLight Dry Goods & Sundry. On the ground floor, Westley Alexander runs Ante Up, where people place bets.
In the ground floor office, the party talks to Catherine Malin. First, they talk about the SubLight problem for the faction quest "Space-Crime Continuum". This concludes the objective to meet with Catherine. The next objective is to enter the secret lab in Cascadia, where the party will find the gas that SubLight needs.
Catherine also asks for help taking over the C&P boarst factory between Fallbrook and Cascadia. There are numerous ways to go about this. This begins the side quest "Slaughterhouse Clive". The objective is to deal with Clive, the boarst factory's proprietor.
The party goes next door to SubLight Dry Goods & Sundry and talks to Duncan Elley. They ask him about the ID cartridge for the C&P factory. Getting the cartridge requires Persuade, Lie, or Intimidate of 50+. The party acquires the Boarst Factory ID Cartridge quest item.
The party returns to the bar and talks to Catherine for the faction quest "Errors Unseen". This concludes the objective to follow up with Catherine Malin. The next objective is to investigate the drop-off point, which is at the broken bridge north of town.
The actual bar is upstairs. Yvonne Brennan will give the party a free Purpleberry Wine if they give her Nelson Mayson's Drink Voucher.
The SubLight shipping office is near the landing pad in the southeast of town. In the lounge, there is a SubLight ID Cartridge quest item to find. There is also a Workbench in the main room.
