The Path but it's perfectly in-time (aka the bad version) - Destiny: Music of the Spheres
So this is The Path from Destiny: Music of the Spheres rendered with samples. You might be wondering why it's a little fast. Or lifeless.
The reason is that most modern music is recorded to what's called a click track. Basically, all of the musicians have a metronome in their ear counting them to be perfectly in time, locked to whatever tempo they want. There's a large list of reasons they do this. For Music of the Spheres, however, the composers didn't want it to be in time. The reason is that it can create this "lifeless" sound. For pieces like The Path and The Ecstasy (which I'll upload another time) you really do need a conductor just listening and adding natural slow-down/speed-ups as the piece goes. Otherwise they just sound like this.
