We play a nameless humble errand boy that does the chores for the abbot and his holyness and on the way helps 3 acolyte to reach what they think is enlightenment and the same happens to the errand boy as well.
The game has very sweet pixelart backgrounds and characters. They really give the game character and looks so good, it's all in very calm and bright mood, so fitting. Some chilled eastern music plays in variations during the scenes and that perfectly sets the mood of the region in the world we are at.
The puzzles in the game are really engaging and fun to solve. Nothing all to hard is happening here, it all flows within the flow of the game. And the puzzles touch on interesting themes, opening the 3rd eye and finding enlightenment are not your usuals adventure game themes and puzzles.

Synopsis:
His holiness is looking for an enlightened student to serve as his acolyte. You are just a humble errand boy with no such ambitions, but it turns out that doing your chores may bring you closer to enlightenment than you expected!
This is a short point and click adventure game made for the $108 Adventure Game Challenge (8-22 September 2024) with the theme: The Dunning-Kruger Effect. The protagonist must be the smartest person in the game, but everyone including themselves believes they are the dumbest person.
