Spoiler Alert: this video reveals scenes a viewer may not want to see... at least, not until they play through the segment themselves! Nothing truly momentous is shown, this is only the intro to the game.
Behind the scenes: this video was extremely challenging to get just right... first, as we've mentioned before, this game is VERY hard on the PlayStation 4 video clip function. Often, moments of video will mysteriously drop out of the final clip, necetating a second (and a third, and a fourth!) playthrough just to get a complete recording.
Second, subtitles - here, they are usually a necessary evil. We despise them because they force your eyes away from the characters' faces, dividing your attention, generally at a crucial moment. We went back to re-lens the segment, without subtitles... and forgot to turn up the music! (It was turned down because after 30 seconds of the Room of Requirement theme, we were ready to destroy all forms of musical expression!)
So, that entire take was scrapped, and finally, with a full take in the can, we began editing. You may notice a few tiny glitches at the transitions. Totally Vanilla Gaming apologizes for the delay and hopes you will enjoy the episode!
