Story 8/10
The story is nothing special. Literally. It's a fly...Flying...Into a lightbulb. BUT in my playthrough the game successfully got me to think deeply about this fly and his obstacles and apply them to a real life situation. Sometimes it's not about what the game is about, but what it's trying to say. What is this game trying to say? I'm not entirely sure, but it definitely was more than a fly to me. There isn't much to say here honestly.
Audio 8/10
Light buzzes from our fly friend, the wind whistling through the trees, the BOOMING sounds of a church choir singing us up to the magic light...The audio in this game is solid.
Controls :
Arrow keys boys! Doesn't get better than that!
Graphics 7/10
Incredibly simple. Really nice shading on the background subjects while keeping sharp detail on the fly. Not to mention the color palette for this game is all relatively the same, really makes the tone of the game more prominent. Overall pretty dang solid!
TL;DR
The Plan is a game where you play as a fly...Flying towards a light. It makes the player think there's something else going on or there's some other kind of overarching theme...Long and short this game begs for you to think deep...And I certainly did. Simple graphics and a solid audio set make this 5 minute experience one that was enjoyable!
Do I recommend this game? : DO IT BRO BE THE BEST FLY YOU CAN BE.
