The New Caves & Crater update is out now so lets have a look at it.

Major Changes :
Remove the ability to craft pulsar quartz

New Objects :
Teleporter
Alloy rod
Torch t2
GPS rocket T3
Map information's rocket

World changes :
New places : Arches, Meteor Crater, Balcony
4 new caves : Zeolite, Pulsar Quartz, Uranium, Osmium
1 new golden crate

Quality of life :
Seeds from food growers stays in when food is harvested
Improved the mapping screen
Screen shake intensity option
Added an arrow on some objects while in building mode
New "accessibility key" (default: ctrl):
- In inventory : transfer all items from same group if pressed while clicking an item
- When building : press this key to rotate to 90° angle
- Chain building : press this key to build the same object multiple time
- Chain crafting : press this key do avoid closing the crafting UI when crafting something
Some objects will face the player when selected for building (containers, crafting stations, desktop, display case, screens)
Show beacons on map

Bug fixes
Save vitals levels between sessions
Fix orientation on compass. Mapping screen and compass now have the same orientation
No more rain under water
Fix bug on mining disappearing ores
Fix "false water" area

Performances
Improve loading time of save files
Improve rendering performances on some objects

Why remove the pulsar quartz crafting option ?

As the zeolite is becoming infinitely renewable via the new zeolite cave mining, the pulsar quartz is becoming the "rare" ore, the one you'll always be excited to find.
It will increase the value and rarity of the fusion energy generator and the teleporters, and give an incentive to explore more in the late game and give us the ability to add future different power sources.
As there is a lot of new containers in the world, your chances of finding pulsar quartz will increase. And the new pulsar cave will provide some more of it.
It's possible that we add the possibility to craft it on a future update / or add more ways to obtain it
As the game is still in Early Access, we want to continue trying new things, always with the goal to make the best experience possible!
