The Planet Crafter | Tips & Tricks | Megadome Building Basics! | 2025

Today we're doing a short video on some Tips & Tricks for The Planet Crafter! We're going to be doing some Building Basics for the Moons Update new building parts, specifically the Megadome. We unlock the Megadome on the Moon Selenea for completing the Terraformation Index there, and it costs Selenium and Blazar Quartz to build so you'll have to have visited and completed the moon. We talk about how the dome has essentially No Clip with any Planet Geography or natural features, nor even existing structures. So the best of the building tricks for the megadome is simply to place it on last. Knowing this we go over the way to set up a scaffolding using a living compartment to give the megadome a snap placement after we figure out where we want it to be. We're on the Planet Humble so we choose a Cosmic Quartz formation to demonstrate with, and we measure the Megadome width and show how to approximate the floor height you want.
